A new partnership between Calgary Municipal Land Corporation and Nature Calgary has resulted in a bird watching program in East Village. St. Patrick’s Island is natural space in the middle of downtown and the partnership allows for tours on some of the island’s natural inhabitants. As Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports, it’s also about increasing safety in the area.
