For the first time since the Apollo program more than 50 years ago, NASA is planning to send astronauts on a lunar mission. Scheduled to lift off in November 2024, the 10-day mission named Artemis II will send four astronauts – including one Canadian – around the moon. Those on board may well travel further into deep space than any human has in history.
