‘Cowards!’: U.S. lawmakers get into shouting match at Capitol Hill over gun control

WARNING: Video contains graphic language that may be disturbing to viewers. Discretion is advised. A heated debate erupted in the halls of Capitol Hill on Wednesday when U.S. Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman, a former middle school principal and advocate for gun control, was confronted by Republican colleague Thomas Massie — days after a 28-year-old former student opened fire inside a private Christian academy in Nashville, Tenn. “They’re all cowards! They won’t do anything to save the lives of our children. Cowards,” Bowman said to reporters assembled outside the House chamber.
