Winnipeg fire crews responded to an early morning blaze on Gallagher Avenue on Thursday at approximately 3:56 a.m. Crews were able to enter the building to fight the fire from inside while searching for occupants. One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition. No damage estimates were available and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
