Han Dong to sit as Independent MP following ‘serious’ allegations

Ontario MP Han Dong is leaving the Liberal caucus. His announcement to sit as an Independent MP came hours after Global News reported that Dong privately advised a senior Chinese diplomat that Beijing should hold off freeing Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor.
