Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister David Marit spoke alongside Minister of Rural Economic Development Gudie Hutchings on Monday to announce $485 million in support for a five-year sustainable agriculture program. Marit said the funding will support initiatives like soil research to improve field longevity. Hutchings added that Saskatchewan farmers can look forward to more support as global demand increases.
