Saskatchewan childcare providers react to $10-a-day child care program

Saskatoon childcare centre operator Brittany Pelletier and a Whitewood child care centre director Nichole Kessel raised their concerns on Tuesday at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building regarding the province's $10-a-day child care program. Pelletier said the April 1st deadline will end government support for drop-in and part-time child-care effectively eliminating those opportunities. Kessel said the three-year road map excludes centres being built, training for early child care educators, and a retention strategy.
