Winnipeg police responded to reports of a shooting early Tuesday morning in the 400 block of Beverly Street that left one woman dead. Brass casings lay behind a line of police tape in the back lane as officers continued to investigate. The homicide unit has taken over the case and no arrests have been made at this time.
