Addressing reporters in Ottawa on Monday, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh dismissed the idea of a closed committee to investigate the allegations of foreign election interference in Canada, instead re-iterating his support for a public inquiry. “I’m loathe to say the words that I agree with [Pierre Poilievre],” Singh said. “I will say, though, I don’t think this should be in any way a private or a secret committee. This is something important that Canadians should have access to.”
