This June, dragon boats will once again take over Little Lake in a celebration of resilience against breast cancer.
Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival has long been a symbol of hope for the region, and this year it’s back for the 22nd time, with a new fundraising goal… but the same electric spirit.
Michelle Thornton is chair of the festival, and a breast cancer survivor herself. She joined Noor Ibrahim on Global News Morning Peterborough to stress the importance of these goals.
