Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said on Tuesday that the country was “deeply worried” about the potential for escalation of the Ukraine conflict, as Russia’s invasion of the eastern European country approaches the one-year mark this week. Qin called on the U.S. and other countries to “immediately stop fueling the fire,” adding the nations must also stop “hyping up Ukraine today, Taiwan tomorrow.”
