China says it will take countermeasures after U.S. sanctions against 6 companies linked to balloon program

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Wednesday Beijing would take countermeasures against the U.S. after six companies linked to China’s surveillance program were sanctioned. Wang said the U.S. had “abused force” and had undermined Chinese sovereignty.
