As the members of the Nuxalk First Nation prepare to begin repatriating a totem pole from the Royal BC Museum in Victoria on Monday, another repatriation is already underway — to return a house post to the Gitxaała Nation on B.C.’s north coast. As Julie Nolin reports, its return from the U.S. east coast has been an emotional journey for the nation.
