Tim Gitzel, president and CEO of Cameco Corporation, spoke on Thursday following his announcement to fuel Ukraine's nuclear power plants that are not in control of Russian forces. Gitzel said he's optimistic, adding that Cameco only returned to limited production in 2022 and now is producing 18 million pounds of nuclear fuel a year.
