Almost 2,300 people died of toxic drugs last year –the second-highest number of deaths recorded according to the BC Coroners Service. That’s 6 people every day. Those numbers come on the day B.C. embarks on a new drug policy, decriminalizing the possession of small amounts of some illicit drugs. Emily Lazatin reports.
