Kathryn Botchford, whose husband Jason died of a drug overdose in 2019, said she had no idea her husband was even using drugs. When she discovered how he died, Kathryn said she was so worried about how society would view her husband’s death and that it would be seen as less tragic because he died of an overdose. Jason left behind his wife and three children.
