‘Many people are dying alone’: Bonnie Henry on why drug decriminalization is important

B.C.'s Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, said Monday that the shame around drug use and drug addiction means many people do not reach out for help and as a result, many people are dying alone. Henry said this is a "really historic and important step" taking place Tuesday as a small amount of some illicit drugs will be decriminalized for adults.
