Footage of Tyre Nichols’ death sparks calls for federal police reform in the U.S.

There are widespread calls in the U.S. for Congress to reform policing after the death of 29-year-old Tyre Nichols, who was severely beaten by police in Tennessee. Five now-former officers have been charged with second-degree murder in Nichols death, and the special unit they were a part of has also been disbanded. But as Jennifer Johnson reports, Republicans are already pushing back on the calls for national change.
