Erdogan suggests Turkiye may accept NATO bid from Finland but not Sweden

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a pre-recorded message that aired on Sunday that Turkiye could “deliver a message” by accepting Finland’s NATO bid without Sweden, which would “shock” the Scandinavian nation. Erdogan’s comments come after the burning of the Koran by a far-right politician in Stockholm last week.
