Quebec MP and former Canadian astronaut Marc Garneau outlined the advantages Canada brings on Friday as the government prepares to green-light space launches on a “case-by-case” basis. He said Canada boasts “a large open territory for space launches, which must be far from populated areas and “a lot of high inclination orbits.”
