Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said Friday at the Canadian Space Agency outside Montreal that the government would begin enabling commercial space launches on a “case-by-case” basis and that it would work with other federal departments and agencies to establish “robust regulatory requirements, safety standards and licensing conditions” for such launches.
