January 17, 2023
The Piikani Nation is marking the start of a new leadership chapter. The band’s newly elected chief and council were officially sworn-in during a ceremony in Brocket Tuesday — a ceremony the new Piikani chief hopes will symbolize his desire to give band members a more direct link to nation leadership. Erik Bay explains.
