Peterborough MPP Dave Smith estimates local impact of surgeries in private clinics

In an effort to clear a surgical backlog of about 206,000 people, the Ontario government released a three-step plan Monday that involves having private facilities perform public procedures. Peterborough-Kawartha MPP Dave Smith says the Peterborough Regional Health Centre will not be negatively affected by this change. He joined Noor Ibrahim on Global News Morning Peterborough with more.
