A group in Vernon, B.C., decided to bring out the brighter side of a giant patch of ice on Kalamalka Lake. It's over 30 feet long, 18,000 pounds, four inches thick and smiling. In a post on Facebook, Shanda Hill says it was a team effort to carve out the smiley face in the ice.
