Bill Blair says he is ‘aware’ of secret PCO memo on Chinese interference
Description
December 16, 2022
Privy Council President Bill Blair said Friday that he could confirm he has not been advised that the 2019 or 2021 federal elections were compromised amid reports of foreign interference, but the concern still exists. He said while reports show it was 11 specific ridings targeted out of 338, the small number does not minimize how the government is handling the situation, saying it informs their decisions going forward.
