Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer Dr. Robert Strang said that the historical uptake of flu vaccines for young children has not been very high, which may have been exacerbated this year following two years of COVID-19 and vaccinations paired with misinformation. Strang highlighted the importance of critical reviews and community engagement in light of these statistics.
