Quebec has officially tabled legislation to make it optional for MNAs to swear an oath to King Charles III. Bill 4 comes as the three elected Parti Québécois MNAs remain shut out of the legislative chamber because of their refusal to swear the oath of allegiance, though support for the new law seems unanimous at the legislature.
