Canada entering into vaccine agreements a ‘prudent one’ despite waste: AG

Auditor General Karen Hogan addressed questions about her report that found wastage in COVID-19 vaccines on Tuesday. She said Canada entering into multiple vaccine agreements in advance of them being produced was a "prudent one" given the need for them as well as not knowing who would make the vaccine first. But she also said had the government better utilized a system called VaccineConnect that was already in place, it could've better helped identify supply needs.
