Emmy-winning actress Kirstie Alley has died at the age of 71 after a short battle with cancer. Alley was best known for her breakout role on the hit sitcom “Cheers”. Her cancer had only been recently discovered, according to a statement posted to her social media accounts and attributed to her children True and Lillie Parker. “As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother,” read the statement.
