Downtown On Call’s first employee reflects back on the changes in downtown Kelowna over the past 15 years
Description
November 22, 2022
If you have spent any time in downtown Kelowna, chances are you've seen them--the red shirts as they are affectionately called by many. They are the men and women who make up the Downtown On Call team walking the streets and checking back alleys. Now the program's very first employee is about to retire after 15 years on the job and as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, it's a job that has seen its fair share of changes in the downtown core.
