Ayaan Jeraj, a Grade 11 student at Prince of Wales Secondary, spoke at David Eby’s swearing-in ceremony on Friday. He first met Eby virtually during the pandemic and Jeraj added it was clear Eby really does care about the youth of British Columbia. He said Eby’s advice inspired him to speak up, ask questions and become involved in the youth council. He was recently made premier of the Vancouver Youth Parliament.
