Quebec’s health minister confirmed Wednesday there will be no new mask mandate. Still, there is a strong recommendation for Quebecers to wear masks in crowded public places. The move comes as Montreal hospitals are overwhelmed with patient overcrowding and staff shortages. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, patients are being hit with a cocktail of respiratory viruses.
