Hydro-Québec employee charged for alleged espionage with China: RCMP

The RCMP have charged a Hydro-Québec employee for espionage, the first time Insp. David Beaudoin said the charge had been laid in Canada, for allegedly obtaining trade secrets for the Chinese government. He said the “alleged facts” occurred between February 2018 and October 2022.
