Surge of sick kids prompts calls for mask mandate return

Pressure is mounting on elected officials to bring back masks in Ontario as pediatric intensive care units operate above capacity. Mandates were first brought in during the COVID-19 pandemic to help overwhelmed and overloaded hospitals, but doctors say that same scene is playing out in children’s hospitals.
