Democrats, Republicans make final pitches before US midterms

A sitting president and two former presidents making impassioned appeals to Americans just two days ahead of a crucial vote. Americans will be voting in midterm elections this week, 250,000,000 people are eligible to cast a ballot – the results will determine the makeup of the U.S. Congress and set the tone for the next two years of President Joe Biden’s presidency. Biden’s name is not on the ballot, but his party’s vision for America is. Biden’s approval rating has sunk since he was elected. Democrats say the Democracy is on the line with this election, Republicans say it’s all about the economy – Washington Bureau Chief Jackson Proskow has more on where things are headed with Tuesday’s election.
