Bears involved in Squamish attacks will not be captured

A women suffered minor injuries in attacks from two separate black bears about an hour apart, while walking in the Squamish estuary. Conservation officers say the bears were exhibiting defensive type behaviour in a wilderness area. They say this is a good reminder for people to be aware of their surroundings when heading out for a hike or run.
