B.C.’s Minister of Children and Family Development, Mitzi Dean, says at a press conference Wednesday that the government is committed to reconciliation. She says this will modernize the Child and Family Community Service Act and the Adoption Act. Dean says these changes were made in collaboration with First Nations leaders and stakeholders.
