The people of Brampton, Ont., have cast their ballots and elected Patrick Brown to a second term as the city’s mayor. Brown garnered 61.15 per cent of the vote in Monday’s municipal election, with 109 of 160 polls reporting securing Brampton’s top job for another term. “You can’t bring hate to Brampton, it’s not welcome here,” Brown said in his victory speech.
