Lavrov says ‘corrections’ to Ukraine grain deal will depend on UN data

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov asked the United Nations (UN) for data Monday regarding the destination and end-consumers for Ukrainian grain exports, saying that any “corrections” to a deal to unblock shipments from Black Sea ports would depend on that information. In July, Russia signed a Turkish-brokered deal to facilitate shipments it had blocked since the start of its invasion on Feb. 24.
