Could we be seeing the beginnings of a worldwide polio resurgence? The World Health Organization (WHO) is warning of a global resurgence of the virus. The U.S., U.K. and Israel have recently found traces of the disease in wastewater, and physicians are saying it’s a matter of time before polio will also be found in Canada for the first time in decades.
