Speaking at net-zero conference in Ottawa on Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau guaranteed that the future of Canada’s emissions reduction plan will “be different” in comparison to its historical track record. Trudeau was responding to a question challenging Canadian emissions being 20 per cent higher than 1990 levels, despite commitments to eight climate plans.
