The driver of a pickup truck walked away with non-life threatening injuries after their car collided with a train, east of Colborne.
The crash happened Tuesday on Hunt Road, south of County Road 2, in Cramahe Township.
Emergency services arrived on scene just before 6:30 p.m.
According to reports, a pickup truck hauling a trailer was travelling north on Hunt Road when it started crossing railway tracks.
A westbound freight train started approaching the crossing, and the driver of the truck put the vehicle in reverse.
The train collided with the front passenger side of the truck, throwing the car and the trailer approximately 20 feet away.
Police are investigating.
