Global’s Clay Young caught up with Jenny Motkaluk on Monday to find out what steps she would take to improve Winnipeg. Clay asked Motkaluk how she would handle the issue of derelict buildings. Motkaluk said she “would seize every derelict building, sell them to private landlords and who would then turn them into affordable housing.” Clay also inquired about her approach to crime and her plan to bring businesses and the public back downtown.
