Ontario education workers return to bargaining table with province as strike looms
Description
October 17, 2022
The union representing 55,000 Ontario education workers, such as custodians and early childhood education staff, is returning to the bargaining table this week with the province in hopes of reaching a tentative deal. It comes as workers are now in a legal strike position as of Nov. 3, though it's not yet known if they would engage in a full strike, a work-to-rule campaign or another course of action.
