In her first news conference on Tuesday, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said that she will be finding new health officials for the province. “I will get new advice on public health. I appreciate the work Dr. Deena Hinshaw has done, but I think that we are in a new phase,” she said. Smith added that she aims to have new public health governance within 90 days.
