Those suffering from generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) often feel intense worry about their safety or that of loved ones, or may have a general sense that something bad is about to happen. It’s a debilitating condition that, according to the Canadian Psychological Association, one out of every 12 individuals will suffer from at some time in their life.
