Family doctors

During the campaign Legault promised to spend $400 million to recruit 660 doctors and 5,000 health professionals if his party was reelected. But during the last election campaign, he said his government would ensure every Quebecer had access to a family doctor, and that didn’t happen. What are we to make of this new promise, and just how important is it to have a family doctor? Global’s Andrea Howick asks Dr. Mitch to weigh in.
