Winnipeg Indigenous business offers free beading workshop to engage reconciliation with public

Jessie Pruden is a Manitoba-based Métis bead artist, entrepreneur, and instructor. She spoke on Thursday about her beading workshop and discussion group hosted by Manitobah Mukluks & Moccasins. Participants who take part learn a new skill while participating in discussions concerning reconciliation. Pruden says activities like teaching traditional skills help engage and explore the topic of reconciliation.
