Progress, moving forward with truth and reconciliation efforts: Trent University’s FPHL

A year since it was declared a statutory holiday - the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is reigniting conversation about the lasting effects of colonial violence on Indigenous communities. But many Indigenous leader say it takes more than just conversation to kickstart change. Dawn Lavell-Harvard is the director of Trent University's First Peoples House of Learning. She is also from Wiikwemkoong First Nation. She spoke with Noor Ibrahim about the efforts and progress that have been made in reconciliation since the 94 Calls to Action were made by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in 2015.
