Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told media during a visit to Newfoundland and Labrador on Wednesday in the wake of storm Fiona that he spoke with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and reiterated Canada’s support with financial and military aid to Ukraine. He also told Zelenskyy that Canada will never recognize the results of Putin’s referendums in occupied regions of Ukraine.
